3 Reasons You Should Buy a Home This Fall

Is fall the best time to buy a house? Today I want to share three reasons why this fall is actually a great time to buy: 1. Sellers are listing for a reason. A seller who is listing their home in October, November, or December typically has a motivation behind why they’re moving. In spring, some sellers are just fishing for a really good offer. This means fall sellers are more likely to price their homes aggressively and with purpose. 2. There is a lot less competition. This is especially true for this year, but there are usually fewer buyers in the fall than in spring or summer. We’ve seen the number of multiple offers die down dramatically, so if you were sitting out of the market, it might be time to look for opportunities again.

3. Pricing has stabilized. In March, April, and May the prices were going crazy. With less competition, prices have stabilized.
