These 3 Strategies Allow You to Sell and Buy
If you need to sell and buy a house in this tricky market, here are three strategies you can use to juggle both transactions:
1. Find a home equity loan or bridge loan. If you haven’t looked into these options, they’re readily available, and we’d be happy to put you in touch with one of our preferred lenders so they can talk you through the process.
2. Negotiate the right terms when the offer comes in. We can oftentimes do a delayed closing or delayed possession for our clients which allows them more time to find their next houses. We’ve also had some of them include a ‘subject to finding their next house’ clause in their contract. This gives them an extra week, two weeks, or even a month to find that next house.
3. Use our One Move program. This program gives you cash in hand from the sale of your current house, and once you close, you have six months to rent that house back so you can take your time looking for your new one.
